5 Things You Need to Become a Credit Repair Agent

There are no specific set of requirements needed if you want to get into the credit repair industry. You just need to know how the business works and how to manage your time if you want to become a credit repair agent. The credit repair industry grew for the first time in 2022 but has decreased by 3.2% since 2017. Currently, the industry revenue is as high as 4.5b in 2023. Getting a degree related to business and finance will help you acquire the basic knowledge and practical experience needed in the field of credit repair. 

2. Negotiation and Communication Skills

Excellent negotiation and communication skills are essential in order to deal with Equifax, Experian, and Transunion. Drafting the proper responses to credit report errors, complaints, and other related matters requires writing skills as well.

3. Licensing and Insurance Requirements
